Her role extends to technology development, where she actively contributes to innovation and process improvement. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Emory University under the guidance of Dr. Stefan Lutz.

 

Jack CahillJohn "Jack" F. Cahill (R&D Associate Scientist, Mass Spectrometry, Oak Ridge National Laboratory) will reveal a revolutionary method for rapid drug characterization using mass spectrometry. Jack is a distinguished R&D Staff Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where his impactful contributions have spanned nine years. Armed with a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from UC San Diego, Jack has cemented himself as a leader in the realm of mass spectrometry techniques, specifically focusing on the cutting-edge development and application of the next generation for the chemical characterization of intricate systems. His pioneering research encompasses a diverse array of applications, including high-resolution chemical imaging of tissues, probing chemical dynamics in plant-microbe systems, high-throughput screening, and the revolutionary realm of single-cell analysis by mass spectrometry. 

Holger Armbruster Holger Armbruster (Global Product Manager, DISPENDIX) will showcase microfluidic technology that's streamlining drug discovery workflows. Holger Armbruster is a product manager with a passion for translating cutting-edge technology into real-world solutions. For over 9 years, Holger honed his skills in life science automation at Beckman Coulter, crafting customized solutions for complex workflows. His research background, stemming from a Ph.D. at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in cancer research, equips Holger with a deep understanding of the scientific landscape and its challenges.
